THE MEANING OF MODERN PLASTIC AND ALUMINUM PACKAGING

What is a modern plastic packaging? Simple answer – it is the first effect which a customer firstly pays attention to when he takes your product.
Merchandizing – silent selling. Consumer behavior researches maintained that every third decision to make a purchase the consumer makes in the store. Of course, it is mainly relates to impulsive purchases. The decision to make the purchase without any hesitation comes only if the object of the purchasing is in the customer field of vision. There are three factors which makes the buyer to buy your product again or remember your brand.
1. The effective appearance of the secondary packaging in the place of storage in the store.
2. Cosmetic proprietary decorated packaging.
3. Guaranteed high quality product, which the customer will like to use.

If we look in the psychology, in the science of human attention and emotions, we will see that the first 10 seconds of attention are the most important in the formation of sympathy or antipathy to the object of the attention.

Let’s see what the first 10 seconds is: it is a short period of time when the buyer just can pay attention on your product and its appearance. After that the buyer will reed the advertising information and the result after using. Firstly, attention is paid only on the appearance of plastic or paper packaging.

As it is known, the process of projecting a new production is divided in three general parts:
A) Design of container: container material selection, painting, decorations
B) Design of product: texture, shades selection
C) Design of secondary packaging: paper selection, decorations.

The meaning of the primary packaging stays on the 1st place because this is the first place of creation of the finished product. The secondary paper packaging is designed on the base of container decorations. There are some important questions, which you need to think about during the design of a new product:
1. Are you sure in the quality of container decorations?
2. Would you like the buyer to remembers your product and recommend it to somebody else?
3. Are you sure that the buyer will be satisfied with the nice-looking product during its usage?
4. Will the buyer desire to buy this product or another product of your brand again because he trusts your brand?
5. Does your development satisfy the requirements of aging segment you oriented in?
